On a crips fall evening at The Oaks, a renowned roadhouse in Manor Texas east of Austin,
friends gathered on October 8, 2008 on the outdoor deck for a rare pair of solo showcases by Jim and Larry. The showcases
were part of the regular weekly songwriter showcase hosted by Sharon May and Lew Andre Mathews, and also featured
performances by their Love Band, Alicia Gill and Mike Davis, Norm Ballinger and Aaron Doss.
